Laura Hilb, MPH, MSN, FNP
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher

Laura Hilb received Qualified MBSR Teacher Status from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2018. When she was a stressed-out nursing student in 2012, Laura took the MBSR course and learned tools to find more balance in life as she became increasingly aware of her body and mind. In her work as a nurse practitioner, she saw the strong relationship between stress and health, and she now aspires to empower others with lifelong strategies to improve their physical and mental health using the innate wisdom of their body and mind. She is pursuing MBSR Teacher Certification through East Coast Mindfulness.

Laura received an MPH in global health in 2010 and an MSN in 2014, both from Emory University. She worked as a nurse practitioner for an internal medicine practice and a homeless shelter. As a nurse, Laura served vulnerable populations including refugees, migrant farmworkers, and persons experiencing homelessness.
